Facebook page admins now receive weekly email stats

Today I received an email with the subject line, “Your Weekly Facebook Page Update.” It was not spam. In fact, Facebook has quietly begun sending weekly email reports to Facebook Page administrators (I am an admin for 6 Dallas-area businesses alone) providing key metrics such as the number of new fans, Wall posts, comments and visitors in the prior week.
