As an iPhone and Mint.com user I have had the pleasure to keep tabs on and manage my meager finances on the go using both the Mint.com iPhone app and email alerts distributed to me by the service on a variety of personal financial matters.

Android users fret no more as today Mint.com released a free app for Android.  Now you too can keep track of your finances through many of the same features iPhone user enjoy such as; account balances, budget compliance, checking recent transactions and more. One of the best features?  The app is password protected, protecting your vital information at anytime and should you lose your phone, Mint.com offers one the ability to remove app access from the website. 

Other features, Android specific features, include financial information and updates on your home screen thanks to Android Live Folders, and the ability to search for recent transactions on your phone.

Android ad traffic surpassed that of the iPhone for the month of March, in the U.S.of A.  AdMob has released its monthly report examining in detail traffic for the Android OS. 

AdMob indicates Android traffic increased to 46% of OS share, 7% more than that of the iPhone.  Luckily iPhone fans, you can still claim world domination, as the iPhone OS garnered 46% of OS share, while Android OS slipped to to 25% of impressions(the way AdMob measures mobile ad impressions).

Good news for Android fans no doubt.  Android continues its growth, now boasting over 38,000 apps, although that is nothing compared to the 1 gazillion apps in Apple's App Store, progress is progress. .

Exciting times for you Android converts?  Do you see improvements in the OS?  Any chance if you are an iPhone or Android owner, you'll jump ship and head to the dark (other) side?

David Wong, aka “planetbeing” has completed a fully dual-booting iPhone that can run either the Android or Apple iPhone OS.  Pretty neat? 

The demo below shows the boot process and Wang using Android for browsing, receiving a text messages, answering phone calls, and playing music. The phone is set up with a dual-boot configuration and indeed the video begins with the device running iPhone OS.

According to the video Wang claims, "It's not really production-quality yet. I'd say it's alpha quality. But pretty much everything works."

Wang has been working since at least 2008 to boot Linux on the iPhone, according to his blog.  Enjoy the video and let us know how quickly you will add Android to your iPhone...

Great news for all of you amateur, online farmers.  In other words, those I loathe.  FarmVille is coming to your mobile device, be it iPhone, iPad or Android. 

At present there are more than 80 million amateur farmers (expert losers) playing the popular Facebook game.  Now hopefully all of you will move your digital manure shoveling from the site of the social media giant and on to the more intimate setting of your mobile phone.

The specs are promising, it is built by HTC and your friends will now be able to hear you.  The Droid Incredible.  Rolls off the tongue doesn't it? 

Featuring a 3.7-inch OLED touchscreen, 800 x 480 resolution, and Google Android version 2.1, is this thing incredible or what?  Wait, there's more.  Also, incredibly, the Droid Incredible features a 1GHz Snapdragon chip inside,  Sense UI and an 8 megapixel autofocusing camera!  Still not incredibly satisfied?  Also included is GPS, 8gb of memory (with expansion to 24gb available using MicroSD cards), and the backing of Verizon. Incredible indeed. 

Hello friends this is C4, will you be interested in purchasing this incredible device, or have but you could be holding out for new iPhone when comes out possibly June 22nd?

It could be a phone, an e-reader, a tablet or something I don't even know right now.

The above picture is from a patent filed by HTC, which shows two screens with the ability to work as one, or split with one acting as a keyboard/other type of interface.

No word on what exactly the device is, the operating system it would run (more than likely Android), or if it will ever be more than a drawing associated with a patent.  Would you like a tablet or e-reader similar to the one above, or do you prefer a flat tablet device, similar to the iPad?

Why check your computer or smartphone to determine if you have unread emails when you can simiply check yourself out?  This AMAZING piece of clothing lights up when you have new emails, and also tells you the number in your inbox. When it comes to smartphones, Apple's iPhone may be top of mind, but mobile devices with Google Android devices gaining on my phone of choice

According to a new research from AdMob (Google owned AdMob, so take from the research what you will with respect to spin, the iPhone held about a 50 percent share of the global market for smartphone devices browsing the internet in February 2010. AdMob found that Google Android is creeping up from behind (which sounds gross), capturing about 24 percent of the market share, Nokia-owned Symbian placed third with 18 percent of the market, with Blackberry and Windows Mobile barely registering with 4 percent and 2 percent of market share, respectively.

In the U.S., AdMob found that in February 2010 the Apple iPhone operating system held a 44 percent market share, down from 55 percent in November 2009; while Android's share rose in the U.S. from 27 percent in November to 42 percent in the most recent AdMob report.

The report isn't surprising for two reasons: 1. The iPhone is only sold in the U.S. on one carrier and 2. Many Android devices exist, almost too many to count, with most of them available at next to nothing, making them easier to acquire and therefore by sheer volume of units sold, the numbers, one would hope, would have to increase.
