Opera Mini Approved for iPhone
Safari is no longer the only browser that will be available for the iPhone and iPod touch. Opera Mini has been approved for both devices and will be available as a free download within 24 hours depending on where you are in the world.
Opera Software claims Opera Mini for iPhone is up to 6 times faster than Safari thanks to its compression and server-side rendering technology. It isn't currently available for yours truly in iTunes, but when it is, you can bet that I bees getting them that browser on my iPhone thingy.
