At this year's Mobile World Conference, Facebook announced their newest mobile device creation, Facebook Zero. Described as a text only version of the world's most popular Social Media / Social Networking platform, Facebook Zero aims increasing Facebook's presence in the mobile realm while reducing bandwidth currently occupied by its' mobile platform.

Mobile World Congress, in Spain, is a combination of the world's largest collection and exhibition of all things mobile. Featuring vendors, mobile operators, content owners, and more, from around the world, MWC is about as big as it gets with respect to the mobile phone and computing industry. Which leads one to ask a very important question, where are representatives from Apple? The maker of one of the world's most popular phones, the iPhone, is noticeably absent from MWC. Does it hurt them in any way? Hardly.
