Want to IM chat combined with Twitter in a simple format?  t.imo.im is a Twitter based IM service from Imo.im, founded by an ex-Google employee.  Seems like a great many ex-Google employees go on to create new and interesting things.  Go figure.

t.imo.im uses Twitter's direct message conversation feature, and turns it into an instant messaging service. The service is certainly worth using if you are into Twitter, IM, or both.  Have you used t.imo.im or plan on trying it?  In the alternative, is IM use so 1998 that you wonder if I even understand what the "kids" are doing these days which is why I chose to write on the topic of IM use in the first place?
