Facebook and Twitter mobile use skyrocket

A report published yesterday by comScore, a leader in measuring the digital world, should be of particular concern for marketing and advertising professionals, as well as businesses using or looking to use either service to increase brand awareness and increase sales.

Of particular note, the report discovered that 30.8 percent of smartphone users accessed social media or social networking sites via their mobile browser in January 2010, a rise of 8.3 percentage points from the same period last year. Even more staggering?
