The Universe...

I am a fan of Gowalla, as those of you who read this blog know (thanks for the support family!).  Why?  I like getting virtual gifts, like the interface, like the fact that they are taking their time to develop a quality set of mobile and CPU applications, among others.  Why don't I like Foursquare?  The interface, the fact that you are deemed cool if you are a mayor or get a new badge (neither a mayor, nor a merit badge should be classified as "cool") and the fact that the kid in their logo above has purple hair, rolled up sleeves and appears to be enjoying a child's game way too much.  Oh, and the other reasons, let's just say that some users are less than desirable...
