With Google's announcement this week of Google Buzz, a Social Media and Geolocation platform built right in to their massive Gmail network, it became ever more apparent that location, where you are and what you are doing while there, is becoming ever more important. Competing with the likes of MyTown, Yelp!, Gowalla, Foursquare, and others, Google Buzz further demonstrates the need for businesses to utilize these services to refine their marketing plans and engage customers on a more local level.
